Give your therapy style a boost in efficacy and efficiency with Manual Ligament Therapy. This 4-hour miny workshop is a glimpse into the world where ligaments dictate muscle function. Proprioceptors within the ligaments play a dominant role in the resting tone and active function of muscles and fascia making it possible to manipulate myofascial function, via the ligaments. MLT uses specific joint positioning, light pressure on the ligament, and gentle muscular contraction to effectively release the tension and improve the function of nearly any muscle in the body in a matter of seconds. MLT will be one of the most gentle, effective, and fast acting manual techniques you have ever learned.

Students will gain a basic understanding of the physiology behind this technique and leave with a good understanding of the integral role ligaments play in muscle and fascial dysfunction. Students will also learn to palpate the target ligaments needed for the application of MLT and, select protocols from the full course. These protocols may include, Pectoralis major and minor, Psoas, Iliacus, Quadratus Lumborum, spinal rotators and multifidus, Levator Scapula, Latissimus, Iliotibial band, and several other key tissues.

This 2-hour introductory class is a glimpse into a world where ligaments control muscles. Proprioceptors within the ligaments play a large role in the resting tone of muscles and fascia making it possible to manipulate myofascial tension, via the ligaments. The technique uses specific joint positioning, light pressure on the ligament and gentle muscular contraction to effectively release the tension in nearly any muscle of the body in a matter of moments. MLT is one of the gentlest and most effective hands-on techniques you will even learn. You and your clients will be astonished by the amazing results achieved with so little effort.

As an added bonus, you will receive a $25 discount toward a full seminar tuition (the tuition from this Introduction) should you decide to take the full 16 hr Upper Body Seminar on Sat the 14th and Sun 15th. That's like getting 2 free CE's!
